Separate incorporation from financial authorization
An incorporation certificate confirms a company was formed, but it does not itself show permission to offer regulated brokerage services. Verify the legal entity, regulator, authorization number and permitted activities with the authority's own register where relevant.
Check whether the company is allowed to serve residents of your jurisdiction. Having an office in a country does not necessarily permit onboarding customers there.
Review costs and fund arrangements
Request clear disclosures of spreads, fees, leverage, margin, overnight charges, deposits, withdrawals and processing times. Review client-fund arrangements and complaint handling.
Do not rely on a single advertisement or review, and never send identity documents or money through an unverified channel.
Assess the platform and support
Examine the platform, sign-in and recovery flows, and confirm the official phone, email and address against company records.
